I really need one for my sister. This is my first Christmas where I actually have money to shop and I want the perfect gifts.
I probably can’t afford the overpriced ones being sold by resellers on Ebay. What retail or online stores carry them – at the retail price, not the rediculous 50$ price.
Stupid, pointless, non serious answers reported
I work at a Borders too, in IPT. We only have the Edward one at my store. Gah!
sadly enough i was laughing at the question and read it out loud to my Girl friend and my sister and my gf yells out (WE SELL IT) she works at borders book store lol. good luck

When I was younger I had this Disney Pocahontas throw blanket that I was madly in love with but for some reason or other I ended up getting rid of it. I’ve looked on Ebay and just about anywhere else I could come up with. Anyways, it was just her face, on the bottom it read ‘Pocahontas’, and around the edges it had, I don’t know, frills, I guess you could call them, it was just the string hanging loose. The throw blanket was an orange-y brown color with, I believe, some dark blues. If anyone knows where I could find one, I’d owe you forever!!!

I have started making these blankets and would like to sell them on eBay. It takes me about an hour and a half to make it if I work non-stop. Would you buy one and how much would you be willing to pay?
Email me for a picture of the blanket.
It would depend of the size. I make them myself. The materials cost plus $10.00 per hour sounds fair to me. Just be careful someone doesn’t report you fro spam.

I crochet baby blankets and I am thinking about trying to sell them online. How much would you be willing to pay for a handmade item such as this? I’m pretty talented and can do a wide variety of patterns, many that I have made up myself. I have sold many of my blankets in the past, some baby size and some queen size. They have sold for anywhere from $10.00 to $50.00. What do you think?
Depending on the size, I wouldn’t try to sell one for more than $25. I have seen a few get sold on ebay, but I think it’s few and far between compared to the ones that are actually posted.
We have a local store here where people can rent a booth and sell their handmade items. I have seen many handmade baby blankets, but they range in price from about $25 to over $100. I saw an afghan that was about $35 and it literally took months to sell. I think a lot of people look at stuff like that and don’t want to pay someone else for their time to make it when a lot of them think they can do it themselves (but they don’t).

OK, anyone who likes Angels has more than likely seen this picture…. It’s the one w/ a Guardian Angel standing on a bridge, hovering…aka "guarding" the two little children. I would love to have this picture on a fleece blanket; not a throw… a queen or king sized fleece blanket, or comforter.
A few places to check: ebay, amazon, your local florist shops, christian book stores and Hallmark stores. Maybe even Barnes and Noble. If you have no luck, there are alot of places like print shops and such that will transfer any picture onto a fleece blanket, just like they do to tshirts.

If it is a throw you want to keep nice and not have holes punched in it there is a way to do it right. The easy way is to go on ebay and buy what are called quilt hangers. You normally need three of them for a full size blanket. Or, you can make your own cheep version by getting two 1X2 peices of lumber about 6 inches longer than the blaket. Screw one board to the wall, hold the blanket with the top centerd on the board, then put the 2nd board on top and screw it in on the ends holding the blanket in place. It is an easy project with 2 people and it will look great. Oh, and you can paint the boards before hanging a color that goes with the blanket. Have fun.
